Balbiino exports ice cream to Ireland

The Estonian frozen products maker AS Balbiino has started the export of ice cream to Ireland by producing the cookie ice cream marketed here under the Raks brand for one Irish and one English dairy company. The first batch of ice cream made by Balbiino has already been sold in Ireland and agreements regarding quantities have been signed, Balbiino said.
The vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two pieces of cocoa biscuit is sold by Balbiino in addition to Estonia also in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland under the Raks brand.
Founded in 1995, AS Balbiino is one of the largest ice cream makers in Estonia. It belongs to the investment company NG Investeeringud and gives work to 158 people. Beside ice cream, Balbiino makes frozen and refrigerated food products.
